The future is coming... and possibly you as well

We all knew it was on the horizon. Too many scientific sorts are out there in world tinkering with new substances and circuit boards with eyes gone glassy imagining all the uses their work might be put to for some of it not to be applied to the genitals. Granted most of the focus to date has seemed to orbit around how to make an appealing flesh substitute both realistic enough for consumers and inexpensive enough to turn a profit selling the toys. Now and again, someone will toss a memory chip into a product line so it'll follow a series of pre-programmed vibration pattern. But that's been about the extent of it. Every other component is mature to the point of unconscious virility. The industry hasn't exactly been pushing the envelope hard over the last decade or so, but perhaps it was more of a "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" mentality while they waited to see how materials would settle out in the market.

It looks like they're ready to start the next generation. If you haven't heard about the SaSi yet, it's an impressive little bit of engineering. The sleek little wedge of plastic doesn't look all that jaw dropping by itself; five buttons in a "compass rose" type configuration, slight arch to the housing, soft membrane with a mobile nub that skates around underneath. Big fucking deal, so it's another hand-held shiatsu massager. Perhaps they'd drum up some interest because it's water-proof, but that's not unique either.

Instead, someone decided they were letting circuitry go to waste. This little bastard learns, which right out of the box, literally, outmatches the capacity of some men. According to reports, it remembers what settings the user prefers and will adapt to a custom regimen for that user. And in case that might get a little boring and predictable, it will randomly improvise a little bit.

This may be the dawn of the Age of the Pocket Gigolo.

Is it disturbing that I find myself wondering what Realdoll would do with learning technology?
