So far, so good

Survived the gauntlet of pain better known as the commercial side of the holidays. Now I am merely looking down the barrel at the rapidly approaching new year. So far, I'm unimpressed.

There have been several profound, labor-intensive, and roundly sweeping changes waiting in the wings for months now that I had hoped would be completely implemented before embarking on the next calendar year. Unfortunately, all hope tends to accomplish are masterpieces of disappointment. Barring a miracle, they will have to be carried over. By miracle, I mean an insane sum of ready cash able to steamroll over all the hurdles remaining before my self-imposed deadline. Ain't gonna happen. So I'll be a little cranky about it for a couple months. I'll live.

The building still stands, the staff are still happy and loyal, and our customer base continues to be steady. One has to remember the priorities.

As for this modest little blog, I think I'll be tinkering around with it over the next few days while I'm still motivated to clean house.

In any case, I hope your December celebration(s) of choice were full of warmth, happiness, good food, and a renewed desire to purchase adult movies and novelties.
