Mental exercise

Imagine you are outside of a building. The signs in the windows are off. Most of the the lights inside are extinguished. The doors are locked. Not even six inched away from where you stand are the store's hours of operation.

So, you knock on the door until the clerk finishing cleaning and generating reports comes to the door.

Why in the name of Ganesha's grapes would you feel the need to keep trying the door? Why must you inquire if we are closed? And why in the whipped caramel ribbons of purgatory would you respond to the now annoyed store employee who has just told you the store is closed with, "Really?"

The man needed killing. People are really bloody lucky I have self-restraint.
