Monday? No way.

This day has had the abysmal taste to presage the week in a dreadfully cliché manner. I feel like I should be setting fire to an obese orange tabby cat in effigy. Let's break out the bullets, and hit the highlights so far.

• Inexplicably awake and unable to fall back asleep after a shocking three hours of sleep.
• Latest paycheque discovered at bank to have been overlooked by boss when he was signing them.
• One relatively discrete section of store in complete shambles upon opening the store, despite being damn near impossible to miss, for me to set to rights.
• A dozen or so movies and items placed at random throughout the shelves, necessitating a pervy variation of an easter egg hunt for me.

I think I shall warily hope that whatever potholes this day provides are clearing the way for the rest of the week.
