It’s amazing what people will attempt to pass off as valid ID here. I was recently confronted by a lad that when I asked to present ID proceeded to pull out a fucking birth certificate!
Right.
I don’t care what the birth date printed on it is. There is nothing to indicate that it’s actually that person’s document. It is NOT a valid form of identification.
It will never be suitable as proof of age within this store.
It will never be suitable to back-up a credit card transaction either, in case anyone ever decides to make the attempt. You scoff, but I know better.

The first time I ever went to Vegas, my ID vanished in the airport. I had to go through Vegas for three days with a copy of my birth certificate and my college ID for the photo. Surprisingly, it worked in half the places.
I might have taken pity on the cretin if he'd possessed a photo ID.
However, when someone's attempting to foist a birth certificate off in lieu of photo ID... No effin way.
