It takes a special kind of talent
So last night a comment appeared on my latest post.
"I wanted to know if by any chance you would be interested in doing an unbiased review of our product.Talk about your instances of utterly useless spam.
If you agree we will send you a product sample so that you can try it and then write a review about it.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thank you"
- They decided to make a comment as opposed to email me, always a sure way to impress me.
- No clue as to who "they" are. I can only assume their alleged product is somehow related to the adult industry.
- Utterly failed to provide contact information. "Erin," the supposed author, is to a locked profile. Call me insane, but if one is going to invite a reply, one should provide the required information so it's possible.

I can't imagine that all this spam pays off for anyone? Unless the ppl sending it are merely getting off on annoying us...
It's less about whether or not it pays off, so much as, it doesn't cost anything. People aren't buying computers and getting high-speed internet connections these days JUST to spam- they can do it on the side, and since the overhead is so low, all it takes is ONE response they wouldn't have gotten otherwise to make it "worthwhile."
Unfortunately.
ffk - That would make sense. However, you've seen the entire spam. There was no avenue for their benefit. No brand name dropped. No location that might get increased traffic. Zero benefit to anyone that I can discern.
